Combine OPC UA data objects

    Description

newObj = append(dObj1,dObj2,...,dObjn) combines OPC data objects in the time dimension without interpolating or extrapolating data. If multiple inputs have data from the same node, the data is merged into a single element. Data from different nodes is returned as separate elements.

    example

    Examples

    collapse all

Load the OPC UA example data file. The uaDataVis and uaDataSample object arrays each contain data from three nodes.

    load opcSampleUaData
    combDataObj = append(uaDataVis,uaDataSample)
    combDataObj =

    1-by-6 OPC UA Data object:

Name Value Start Timestamp End Timestamp Quality
        -------- ------------------ ------------------- ------------------- -----------------------------
        Double 9 double values 2015-04-22 09:00:10 2015-04-22 09:01:30 3 unique qualities
        Float 12 single values 2015-04-22 09:00:02 2015-04-22 09:01:30 3 unique qualities
        Int32 12 int32 values 2015-04-22 09:00:02 2015-04-22 09:01:30 3 unique qualities
        Counter 1000 int32 values 2026-05-02 11:33:09 2026-05-02 11:49:48 1 unique quality [Good (Raw)]
        Square 1000 double values 2026-05-02 11:33:09 2026-05-02 11:49:48 1 unique quality [Good (Raw)]
        Sawtooth 1000 double values 2026-05-02 11:33:09 2026-05-02 11:49:48 1 unique quality [Good (Raw)]

When you combine both arrays, the result is a 1-by-6 object array because the arrays had data from six unique nodes.

    Input Arguments

    collapse all

OPC UA data, specified as an array of OPC UA Data objects.

    Output Arguments

    collapse all

Combined OPC UA data returned as an array of OPC UA data objects.
