Description

The Unconnected block input ports configuration parameter determines the diagnostic action to take when the model contains a block with an unconnected input.

Settings

none (default) | warning | error

none: The software takes no action.
warning: The software displays a warning.
error: The software terminates the simulation and displays an error message.

R2022a: The software takes no action by default

The default behavior of new models is for the software to take no action when a block has an unconnected input. For models created in previous releases, the default behavior was for the software to display a warning.
