Using TV Tuner i recorded videos. I need to hide the logo from those recorded videos. What are the methods or techniques can be achieved to get an effective answer. This is the pci card which i use http://www.plaisio.gr/ypologistes-anavathmisi/anavathmisi-ypologisti/kartes-tv-tuner/AverMedia-H727-Aver-TV-Tuner-PCI-Express-Capture-HD.htm

The laws about "fair use" or "fair dealing" are not precisely defined in Canada or the USA, but a notion that has been relatively constant is that if there is time to obtain permission then one needs to do so. Academic projects in Canada and USA are not exempt from copyright laws; there has to be a plausible research reason why using a non-copyrighted item was not suitable. Such as producing your own video and interposing a logo on it and working with that.

Cropping should do it.
