Hello. I am doing an online course on MATLAB and straight away I am being given a homework without any basis. Guide me please !

I am doing an online MATLAB course and straight away I have been given homework, while I have no background in MATLAB. I am really confused from where to start as I have no basis or research material to find the answers of the task I am being given with out any coaching. Kindly guide me how to proceed. As an example I am quoting one of the question here. What things to be simulated to find the Regrigerator's capability to maintain maximum inside temperature up to a given maximum outside temperature? Will appreciate the kindness. Best regards.

Did they give you some kind of formula(s)? How about using this: Newton's Law of Cooling and coming up with your own parameters? Maybe they've given you free reign to design whatever kind of simulation you want.

Dawood, In order to write a code, you should have an algorithm. And algorithm is designed based on formula. If you provide mathematical equations, I would help you design your code.

No, nothing provided. They straight away assigned me the homework, I will paste the complete one, may be you will have an idea. I contacted them as well, but I have got no satisfactory answer.

Hmmmm. But how can I proceed even with the plan when I am new at Matlab. Can you guide me how to begin with it? Or any source material from which I can extract the related information. Regards
