Kolmogorow-Smirnow-Test, how to interpret the p-value

Hello, i have 2 datasets and i want to compare them to see how "similar" they are. For this purpose i am using "kstest2", which is the Kolmogorow-Smirnow-Test. Now i have read in the matlab description, that also the p-value is returned. As i am not very familiar with statistics i would like to ask how the p-value is to interpret? Does a high p-value means i.e. 1 that the 2 datasets are 100% familiar? And a low p-value means that two of them are quite different?
Many thanks!
