Loading multiple excel files with different names

I need to load multiple excel files with different names (it's important that they'll keep their names) and put a calculation that I've made into a new parameter i.e. create a vector of numbers that each one of them belongs to a different excel file.

I want to know how can I write a script that will read or load all the files by order and take the data from a specific place on each and everyone of them...

Look up xlsread for reading parts of the excel file. For the loop, it depends on how the files are named. You can use ls or dir to get the list of files in one directory for instance and cycle only thru the excel ones. The specifics of the script depend on what exactly you want to do. Try those functions and if you can't get anywhere, publish your code for people to comment upon.
