Hi!
I would like to modify the structure of the Asynchronous machine model. I disabled the link at the link options, but when I try to modify the Subsystem inside (look under mask), I get the Message: 'Attempt to modify configurable subsystem'
Are there any other steps necessery to 'unlock' the model?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards Harry

Did you break the link after disabling it?

The blocks underneat the Asynchronous machine (Mechanical model, Electrical model) are what's know as Configurable Subsystems. You cannot break the library link to a Configurable Subsystem.
What you will have to do is click on the block you want to modify (say Mechanical model), then hit Ctrl-L to navigate to the library block. This will take you to the configurable subsystem template block. You need to drag the actual block from the library that is being used (say Continuous Tm input). You can delete the Mechanical model block in the motor model and replace it with this block, then disable the library link for that block.
Now you should be able to change the contents as you see fit.

Thanks. Doug. I have tried your method and I can modify the model now. However, when I run the simulation, the error "Invalid simulink object name ..../electrical model" appears. I have changed the electrical model in my case. It looks like Simulink can not recognize the electrical model inside the machine now. Please help to solve the problem.
