How to show difference equation on the command line?

For example, given , is there a way to show this equation on the command line in Matlab just like what the tf() does?

Ran in:
fprintf('y(n) = 0.25\n')
y(n) = 0.25
fprintf('y(n-2) = 2*x(n)+0.5*x(n-2)\n')
y(n-2) = 2*x(n)+0.5*x(n-2)
