Hey all, I recently bought a macbook air (10.9.4) but I cannot install Matlab. I get the following message when I try to click the InstallForMacOSX
You can’t open the application “InstallForMacOSX” because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.
Help would be appreciated!
Thanks.

More important is what version of MATLAB are you trying to install?
That release is too old to work on the new Mac that you have. You will need a new version. Any release that references "PowerPC" is an old one, probably an old student version?

OSX 10.9.4 will probably need the most recent release, or close to that.
