Use LSTM Network for Nonlinear System Identification

3 views (last 30 days)
I want to identify a nonlinear system and have the time histories of the input and output data available.
I would like to exploit the potential of LSTM networks. I have found that a guide to identification in the linear domain is available at this address https://it.mathworks.com/help/ident/ug/use-lstm-for-linear-system-identification.html. Is it possible to use the same procedure to identify a nonlinear model?
Thank you in advance!

Hello Marco,
Are you have the answer to this question? Coincidentally, I'm also working on this topic for my final project. I want to identify a non-linear system modeling with time-series data for input and output in induction motor for fault detection. If you have the MATLAB code for the LSTM networks to solve this, would you share it with me? Thank you.
