the Pi Pico is an example of a dev board using the RP2040 MPU. it is not listed either as working or not working on this page: https://www.mathworks.com/hardware-support/raspberry-pi-simulink.html
Has anyone tried it or able to make an educated guess about whether it would work?

Hi,
The Raspberry pi pico hardware is not supported as of Matlab R2021b release. It might be supported in the future releases.

I am running R2022b. I am really needing (wanting) to be able to support my raspi pico projects. Any word on when this will be available?

To find out more about future plans, contact your Mathworks sales person. Your salesperson is authorized to offer Non Disclosure Agreements about future plans.
(For any particular aspect, Mathworks might decide it does not want to say, or might decide that your account is not valuable enough to put in the effort to answer. But nearly the only time Mathworks employees are authorized to comment in public about future plans is that starting approximately 8 days before the official launch of a new matlab version, Product Managers can start mentioning upcoming features.)
