Can I move my license to newer version?

Hi, totally new here.
I would like to purchase 2014 Home license, what if, when version 2015 is out, can I just download and use it without additional purchase? Thanks!

I had read the FAQ, before posting here. I was just confused with the term upgrade, whether it means upgrade license from Home to Standard, or version 2014 to 2015.
So, it means, if I buy now, I will stick with 2014 forever?

Hopefully not. You will stick with it until you decide to buy the newest version. But you will have to pay for it. It's still a bargain compared to what we full industrial users pay. Sure we get "free" upgrades and technical support but we pay much, much more than a home version. No free upgrades is one thing you lose in exchange for the very low price.

I might not the right person to answer your question. However, the text of the answer, to which I linked, has been up for three weeks as a comment. Had it contained a major error I'm sure someone would have posted a correction.
There are many different licenses (with different price tags).
The FAQ Home section says:
A. No. There are no upgrades or trade-in credits offered for MATLAB
Home. To obtain the most current software release you must purchase
a new copy.
The same applies to the Student license.
