Hi,
I am new to matlab scripting this may sound stupid.
so I have a .m file (test2.m) which is a GUI file and then one more file which is also a guy file (test.m).
so test.m has a function which gives out 128x14 matrix every second.
I can write the same function here in test2.m but it would use more memory so can i use the same variable here (the data).
thanks in advance.

Akshay - please clarify what you are attempting to do. Do you have two GUIs running simultaneously and you want to pass the data from one GUI to the other? If so, please see

  • "use more memory" &nbsp Don't worry about memory use until you know it might become a problem.
  • The first solution I come to think of is based on event ( "gives out 128x14 matrix every" ), notify and a listener in test2
However, that might not be what you need.
