Set axes color to 'none' in guide

How can I set the Color property of an axes to 'none' in GUIDE?
I can't type 'none' in the property value box in property inspector, just clicking on it launches the Color widget.
I tried setting the alpha to 0 in the color widget, but that value does not get saved.
