logical indexing in one line when choosing from a column

4 views (last 30 days)
I want to choose a column vector from a matrix and do the logical indexing on it. For example
chosen=matrix(:,1);
chosen=chosen(idx);
where in above idx is a logical index vector. Now my problem is I don't want to do it in two lines, I'm thinking about something like
chosen=matrix(:,1)(idx);
now I know the above expression is wrong, but is there a valid replacement for that? Thanks

you can use the find function instead
