lines versus blobs in greysacle images

using bwlabel and regionprop my code detect lines with a number of connected pixels. It also detects blobs with irregular shapes, with lines in them, which is not desired. Using online resources, I used circularity and other type of calculations to delete the blobs. It does not work on all, the blobs that are closer to lines. Any code or site that can provide some new ideas?.
