Signal Editor Doesn't Work.

When I click this button, the signal editor window does not appear.

Even experts may not be able to tell where the button was placed right away only with the small picture 🤔 with what context.
Which release do you use? Can you describe further details so that others can reproduce the issue? If you need any files or models to reproduce the issue, please share them.

Hi Jaehyung,
I understand that you are unable to open the signal editor window by clicking on the icon. You can try these following steps to open the Signal editor window:
  1. Check if the Signal Processing Toolbox is installed because Signal editor is a part of the Signal Processing Toolbox in MATLAB. If it’s not installed, install it from the MATLAB Add-Ons menu.
  2. In Simulink, navigate to Prepare section of the Simulation tab and click the expander. In the Inputs & Parameter Tuning section click Signal Editor.
  3. You can also try opening Signal Editor from MATLAB using the command 'signalEditor' in the Command Window.
The following link provides some methods to open the Signal Editor window: https://www.mathworks.com/help/simulink/slref/signaleditortool.html#mw_8f32c19f-2e00-4845-a971-74cb587ccfc3

Until the last week, i was able to use the signal editor without purchasing the signal processing toolbox. Also, a coworker of mine can open the signal editor without any problems and without buing the signal processing toolbox. Maybee we talk of different tools.
I have a similar issue as @Jaehyung. I can place the signal editor simulink block, by selecting it from the simulink library simulink/sources/signal editor. But after i click on the mentioned icon in the simulink block, just an empty window will open. The window is just shown in the windows tab bar, but not on the screen.
I use matlab 2023a.
My signal editor can be opened again. It looks like a windows problem to me. I rightclicked on the blank window app icon in the windows taskbar and selected maximize. Now the signal editor window is shown again.
Hi Lukas,
I had the exact same problem and your solution worked!
