Simulink Support Package For Arduino Hardware (24.2.4) issue

9 views (last 30 days)
I just updated the Simulink Support Package (24.2.4) For Arduino Hardware. When I add a block from it's library to my model, the picture of the block is empty. Double clicking the block does not show it's parameter settings. Instead, it shows the following. I never had this problem with previous versions.
This is a typical error message I recieve when I try to execute.
=== Simulation (Elapsed: 2 sec) ===
Error:Invalid setting in 'untitled/Digital Output' for parameter 'System'.
Caused by:
Error evaluating parameter 'System' in 'untitled/Digital Output'
Unable to resolve the name 'arduinodriver.ArduinoDigitalIO'.

Hello Richard,
The reason for this issue could be that the Support Package is not installed properly.
Can you please try, changing the support package install root directory before attempting to reinstall.
Refer the following link to know more on changing the support package install root directory.

Hi Monalisha,
Thank you for this information. I feel this type of reading material is important. The Mathworks directory and file system structure is complex and this reading creates a good basis for understanding.
I have reinstalled all of my software. That fixed my library problems. I still have an issue with the hardware board driver and downloading code. This is my focus now.
