Instal Matlab 2011a on Ubuntu 11.10

Hello,
I'm having some problems while installing Matlab on Ubuntu 11.10.
Can anyone give me some indications or place where I can read more about this. I don't really know if the even work together. (My matlab version is for Unix system so it should work). I really need it and If I can't find a solutions I will have to change back to Windows.

Can you be more specific? What is the exact problem you see?

Hey, I have installed MATLAB on Ubuntu and it was not a big issue. Only had some trouble with creating a launcher. Found some instructions here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MATLAB

Hello, Yes I had the same problem with the launcher.. but now works fine... No bugs yet... Thanks for the answer
