Why do I have to be Administrator to activate MATLAB on Ubuntu?

I have successfully installed MATLAB R2014b on my laptop, working with Ubuntu 15.04. Unfortunately, I must run MATLAB as Administrator. How can I solve this problem?

You need to run MATLAB once as Administrator to do the activation, or you need to run MATLAB as Administrator every time?
