How can i design a variable inductor for three phase inverter in simulink?

10 views (last 30 days)
I am trying to build variable inductor model in three phase voltage source rectifier and i have used the program for the variable inductor design i.e., "power_VariableInductor" (You can run this program in Matlab) but when i use the same design in my three phase voltage source rectifier then there comes problem in the block i.e., "Inject inductor current" and receive the message when i run the simulation i.e.
"The 'Variable Inductance1/Inject Inductor current ' block cannot be left open-circuit because it is modeled as a current source. You should try to resolve the open-circuit topology or delete this block from your model."
There is also same design used in the following paper
Please guide me about the mistake i am making in the design of variable inductor

Hi Muhammad,
As the error indicates, you likely have left the "Inject Inductor Current" block open-circuit. In the "power_VariableInductor" example, this block is in the "Variable Inductance" subsystem and is closed-circuit. First, I would make sure that yours is implemented in a similar manner. If it is, please upload the model so that we can take a look.
Unfortunately, I cannot look at the paper you linked because I do not have a subscription. You may want to try and describe what they are doing a bit if the above does not help.
Best of luck,
-Adam

Hi I got the same error message, the reason is that I connected nothing with this subsystem and click the run button
