Problem exporting bold Greek letters to .eps R2014b

Hi,

When I try to export my matlab figure to an eps file, if the axis labels have Greek letters that are bold, they disappear in the exported file. This problem does not happen if the Greek letters have normal weight (and also does not happen if I export to jpg, png or tiff). Is there a way to fix this problem? I'm using Matlab R2014b

Thanks for your response Walter. It looks like there is no good answer to this. I was actually trying all sorts of things and stumbled upon the changing interpreter to Latex "fix". What I don't know is to make the Ticks bold once I choose a Latex interpreter. Any thoughts on that?
