poisson function help !

I need to imlement a poisson function. In matlab it asks for the value of lamda and x both in order to plaot the function but the value of x is from 0 to infinity. I do not want to give the value of x and want to plot poisson function. I need it to plot the output with random values around the mean value that i provide. Can you please help ?

It's hard to understand what you are asking, but perhaps you need to call on the function 'poissrnd' which generates random integers with a poisson distribution. See its description at:
