What does (u[2]==0)*1+(u[4]==0)*2+(u[1]==0)*4+(u[3]==0)*8 written in a function block with four inputs and one output in simulink environment mean? Similarly, could you also tell me how , | are used (in fcn)? I was under the impression that function blocks are for writing formulae alone.

hi, here u(1),u(2),u(3) and u(4) are each inputs. here though the inputs are zero , the o/p will be 0 . generally the Fcn block applies the specified mathematical expression to its input.also, in Fcn block we can use ll
