How do I calculate the resultant force in a program?

If your given three 5 rows and three columns how would you figure out the resultant force.

What does resultant force mean in this context? A matrix, with 3 or 5 rows or columns (seems you are not sure) is just a list of numbers in a regular shape. You need to explain your questions.
