How to Display Matlab helps and Warning in editor

2 views (last 30 days)
Upon learning new commands, matlab help database is extremely useful, but upon doing practice, I would like to find and fix my mistakes by myself. So is there a way of displaying those wardings and red lines under the problematic part?

I'm not sure what you're asking ... if the Code Analyzer preference is set, you should see the orange and red underlines indicating a problem that Code Analyzer can detect when your code is open in the Editor. If you're not, open the Preferences (on the Home tab of the toolstrip) and check that Code Analyzer messages are enabled.

I see your point, what I am saying in the body part is somehow contradictory. It seems that I was not careful enough upon asking my question. So, by mistake, I used 'display' instead of 'disable'. This leads to the confusion. I asked my question again and restated my problem, sorry for this.

Yes you can display the warning messages and error messages in code. Follow the below documentation: warnings: http://in.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/warning.html
And yes, the help and documentation of MATLAB is tremendous. Good luck for your MATLAB learning.
