I chased down an alternative block set for someone a couple of months ago, but I no longer recall if it was for wind turbines (might have been.) If it was, the link would be in one of the wind turbine messages that you can see via http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/?term=tag%3A%22wind%22
Sorry, my browser takes 15 seconds to switch tabs these days, so I do not have the time to review those previous postings.

The Windturbine block is part of SimPowerSystems blockset. If you type ver at the command line does this show up?

Then find its author and ask (perhaps pay) them for it, or find a place where it is safe and legal to download it.

I am also going to do a project on wind turbine and looking for this library. I think this library is third party or user defined and not owned by Mathworks. Is there any way to download it?
