Hello,
ok so I installed Matlab 2014 and 2017 on my pc. I use em both. In 2014 in the image acquisition toolbox, the gige vision hardware driver is listed in the installed adaptors screen. But in my 2017 version, this driver is installed but not found by the toolbox. And I only installed Matlab 2017 on my laptop and everything works fine. On thing that might be interesting is that, installed Matlab 2017 on the pc using the Administrator user but Im using both Matlab versions on another user. If Im not mistaken, I think that I installed Matlab 2014 with the normal user, too. Could this be the main problem here?

Hi,
Starting with version R2014a, each adaptor is available separately through MATLAB® Add-Ons. In order to use the Image Acquisition Toolbox, you must install the adaptor that your camera uses, in this case, the GigE Vision Hardware support package. See Image Acquisition Support Packages for Hardware Adaptors for information about installing the adaptors.
