How can I increase the precision of a limit to give a number with more digits?

Hi, I have the following:

C= 1/a
f = (C - (exp(-2x)).*(C - ((h)./2) + (g.*x))
limit(f,var,a)=W
double(W)

However double does not work. I would like to have more digits in the picture, as g has pi in it. How can that be done?

if you want to display it on the command line, use

 format long

if you want to write to a file, use fprintf

 fprintf('%4.12f',pi)
