Using Real-Time Workshop and xPC Target: data acquisition from RTDS

Hi, I need to run an algorithm on real-time of a protection function and I need to acquire analogic data from equipment, in this case: the RTDS (Real Time Power System Simulation). So, I can do this using the Real-Time Workshop to run the algorithm developed and xPC Target to acquire data?

I think this might be possible if you develop a custom xPC Target driver block for the RTDS system.
