Transfer function

Hello, I want to know how to draw an electronic circuit(RLC)from a transfer function like (1/s+s^2) by matlab. Thanks in advance

if you want to try simulate the response of that transfer function with step or ramp function, you can try defining that TF with 'tf' command and then using 'step' for response plot.

Hello,

I am trying to calculate the transfer function and step resposne of a simple system. Everywhere I look i am supposed to use "tf" for transfer function and "step" for the step response. However, Matlab is telling me "Unrecognized function or variable 'tf'". and I get a similar response for the step action. Is there another package I'm supposed to insall to get these functions or is it a bug because it seems to work fine for everyone on youtube.
