Hello, I have a program I'm seaching peaks and their widths. When I search the highest peak and its width I have two values to width. When a use "[pks,w]=findpeaks(fE1,'SortStr','descend');" , I have a width A e when a use "[pks,w]=findpeaks(fE1)" I have a width B, being A<B.
What is it wrong? How can I arrange that wrong?

How exactly do you search for 'the highest peak'? The first peak will of course be higher in the first case whereas it may or may not be first in the second case

Attach your data, or at least a screenshot of the plot, so we don't have to work blind.
