Simulink causes MALTAB TO crash on Fedora 28

MATLAB opens and I can use it for simple stuff but when I launch Simulink it crashes. I get this error report (see attached file).

I had a look at those already. I followed what they said and MATLAB itself works but if I try to use Simulink it crashes. ONLY with Simulink.

did you read the last link?

That link especially. I wasn't getting Simulink to even open and after following last link I was able to get it to open but when I want to start a new Simulink model it hangs and eventually crashes. I attached a log error report, not sure if that could help.
