How to calculate the value of natural log 'e' in Matlab?

Hi,
I tried following:
>> e.e
error: undefined function or variable e
>> exp(1) . exp(1)
error: Invalid expression
Some body please guide me how to find the natural log of a value in Matlab.

Please try Google next time before you ask a question (and have a look here).
The method to calculate the natural log is simply log(). If you want base 10 it is actually log10().

Google is good but sometimes we need human interactions and thats why we have forums.

One of the nice things about the Matlab doc, it that at the bottom of the page there are links to similar functions, so if Google gets you to exp, the 'See Also' gets to to log and log10.
I'm sorry if I sounded a bit snarky btw.
