Hey, I am working on my research and I want to discretize a plot of Current Vs Time at every 0.1 seconds. Is there a particular command that could be useful?
Thanks

is your sample time >0.1 or <0.1. is it variable?

Do you already have the plot? It seems to me that if you already have the plot it's already discretized (digitized) so what more do you need? Or is this a plot that's on paper published in a journal? Or do you want to know more about the data acquisition toolbox so you can digitize your electrical circuit measurement? Can you supply any more information to remove any vagueness about your question?

You can utilize the stairs function to plot data without interpolating between the points.

%let us take this example:
method='smooth'
t=[0:10];y=sin(t); %your signal
yfit=fit(t',y',method) %interpolation function yfit
%now choose your new time vector with 0.1 sample time
ti=0:0.1:10;yi=yfit(ti)
plot(t,y,'r') %your original signal
hold on, plot(ti,yi,'+b'); %your new signal
