Is it possible to have more than one function in a custom 'train' file?

Hi all,

I'm currently working on a custom'train' function to be applied on neural net.

Let's say this is the typical function for neural network: function [net,tr] = train_network(net,tr,data,fcns,param)

Now I have another function within this function, say: function s=bounds(s,min,max)

Is it possible to have another function with a function used to create a 'train' file for neural network?
