Hello,
I have matlab installed on my laptop, but would like to install it on my desktop computer as well. I moved the files onto a hard drive and extracted them onto my desktop computer. But now I don't fully understand how to install them, is it even possible?

In the Windows command prompt, cd to the directory that you extracted the files into, and run the setup.exe that you find there.
This process of cd'ing can be to a network drive, if you are sharing files between your desktop and laptop.
Note: you cannot just copy an already-installed MATLAB to another MS Windows system, and there needs to be some registry changes.

Managed to fix it now, I just couldn't locate the setup file at first!
