Can anyone help me to write matlab codde for this plot

Check out the examples in surf(X,Y,Z) and play around with the X,Y,Z values, based on what you see in the image. The x axis is labeled 'r'; the y axis is labeled 'z'; and the z axis is labled u(r,z).

Do you have this plot saved as matlab figure or just as an image ?

There are two ways to recreate this surface.

1) If you have the function of the surface, shape the values so they work with the surf() function. Do you have the function of the surface? If so, share it, along with the input values.

2) If you don't have the function, you can estimate the coordinates by eye. This won't be easy and will not produce an exact replica.

3) as MaryD pointed out, if you have the .fig file, you could extract the values from that. (Good idea, Mary D).

Do I understand that all you have is a picture of the plot? The problem is, if you have only a 2-d representation, then you are highly limited. Think of an M.C. Escher print. You cannot easily recover the actual height of what is in the image, as there is ambiguity.

If I wanted to replicate that surface, given only th image, I would probbly take off values around the perimeter of the surface. You can read off the z-values directly there. Then, with thatas information, I'dd fill in a few in the interior of the region. Finally, I would use a scheme like my inpaint_nans tool, or perhaps gridfit, to infer the remainder of the surface as smoothly as possible.

But is that really your goal?
