How to read the text file start from 7th line and convert the date into datenum?

Hi everyone. I need to read the text starting from 7th line of text file until the end of data. And the date need to be converted into datenum. can anyone help me to solve this matter.

The text file looks like this:

unfortunately sir, since there are lot of files, I have to skip the header and start to read the data starting on the 7th row before converting the data.

Is it always the 7th line?

In textscan and some other functions:

'HeaderLines',6

will skip the first 6 lines and begin reading with line 7.

This is how my script looks like but I can't convert the datetime into datenum. Attached is example of the file.

You need to use a loop, or hide the loop with cellfun:

dtn = cellfun(@(ymd,hms)datenum([ymd ' ' hms],'dd-mm-yyyy HH:MM:SS'),A{1},A{2});
