Hey guys,
I am trying to resolve my no load data out of my in simscape designed PMSM.
With load it is no problem and the motor is working properly. I am using a ideal torque source for my load simulation.
But when I type in 0 the motor is not working properly.
So how can I do a no load test with the PMSM.
A open circuit is not the right thing at this place because it uses high (inf) resistances and I am not able to get my no load current.
Maybe one of u tried this before... I hope so.
Best regards and thanks in advance.

I think you're using the PMSM as voltage/current generator, right?

Could you find the right answer for how to get torque in PMSM in no load?

If you are using specialized power systems, it can be very hard to model a no-load test without very small time steps. It might make more sense to use the simscape components (blue components) to model this. You can also use a large snubber resistor to get "almost" no load current. Esentially, the smaller your time step, or the lower your resistance, the easier it will be to get a value.
