I am working on image segmentation of retinal images, want to extract the vessels,I have extracted the green channel and have performed features extraction using entropyfilt, now please tell how to perform segmentation using svm

SVM is a machine learning technique where you will need to train the positive and negative
try typing 'docsearch svm' in your command window

SVM splits a cluster into the two most widely separated clusters possible. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Support_vector_machine. So it will automatically give you a "class 1" and a "class 2".

What is represented by the two clusters? The gray levels? Can just a typical thresholding algorithm work?
