R2013a on Windows 8 and 8.1 - help/documentation pages garbled and ugly (lack CSS)

3 views (last 30 days)
Hi,
I thought I'd ask before raising a ticket. Ever since I upgraded to Windows 8 and then to 8.1, the help pages from Matlab R2013a appear as if no CSS has been loaded. Viewing the individual html file in Firefox however, it shows fine. Also, search results from the main window are displayed in the help with proper css formatting, but a specific page is not. I tried running Matlab as admin as well, but it made no difference.
Here are some screenshots:

Firefox shows the same file just fine:

If I search the doc from the Matlab main window, the search results also show fine:

but clicking on "zeros", it opens a garbled page, as in the first 3 links.
Any clues?
Cheers.

But I'm on a fresh Windows 7 Pro - 64 bit install (fully updated, comprising IE 11) with Matlab R2013a
Hope in a promptly fix

Hi,
It's all covered by MathWorks here.

In windows 7 you can fix this problem by rolling back IE 11 to IE <= 10.
