How to link matlab code to s-function in simulink?

I have a matlab code and i want to implement that code in simulink using S-Function. Even though i created S-function file and added to the block, i am not sure that S-function block is reading the code. the output is same as input. can anyone help me?

You may want to set breakpoints in your MATLAB code and debug it.
