When starting MATLAB I get the following error:

If you are running MATLAB R2009a on a Mac with a Power PC based processor this error will occur because this processor is not supported for MATLAB R2009a. See the system requirements here for more information about the requirements for MATLAB R2009a on Mac:
You will also receive this error when installing on an Intel based Mac if your installation did not include MATLAB as part of the installation. A bug in the installer will allow the installation to proceed without MATLAB.
To clear this error, drag the current installation into the trash. Ensure that you have the "matlab_maci.tar" file ( it is called "stu_matlab_maci.tar" for the Student Version) in the matlab_installer_maci folder, in addition to any other products you wish to install, and then restart the installation.
