GUI-based Remote Data Access (RDA) client
Version 1.0.0 (5.6 KB) by
Brain Products GmbH
GUI-based client for connecting to BrainVision Recorder's RDA output
This client serves as an example demonstrating how to connect to the remote data access output of BrainVision Recorder via TCP/IP connection. The control interface is provided via a graphical user interface (GUI).
The GUI-based client reads data and marker information and visualizes the EEG channel of choice and its Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). In addition, it shows the accumulated average of the ERP following a marker of choice. All of the relevant settings can be adjusted directly in the GUI, but the user is encouraged to change code in the M-file directly as well.
Remote Data Access must be activated in BrainVision Recorder first:
- Go to Configuration > Preferences and select tab Remote Data Access
- Check "Enable Remote Data Access"
- Start Monitoring or Recording to start the RDA stream
As soon as the RDA stream has been activated, the RDA client can be started.
More information can be found directly in the M-file by reading the comments.
