MATLAB® Support Package for Android™ Sensors enables you to collect sensor data from your mobile Android device, such as a phone or tablet, log it in MATLAB, and then use MATLAB to process the data. You can collect data from acceleration, angular velocity, orientation, magnetic field, and GPS sensors, as well as images from the built-in camera.
This support package is functional for R2020b and beyond.

Is there anyone know to plot the real time data from sensor ?
Please sent to : sajanraj.t.d@gmail.com
how to plot the sensor data in real time rather than use the logged date?
good
Can I connect proximity sensor with my laptop using this???
I would like to interface matlab simulaneously to multiple android (& iOS devices). For instance, I would like to acquire the roll angle of 10 devices.
With this addon, the signal is acqually acquired, but it will mix all the source signals, i.e. an unique timeseries containing samples from all the sources.
Also a command like:
m.Logging = 1;
will activate logging on all devices.
It would be useful to have an extra argument in
m = mobiledev()
in order to specify the device that is connected (based on some unique data), and thus possibly to have "multiple seaparated mobiledev channels".
Being able to get microphone data would be great.
It will be good if WiFi data, all avaiblable Wifi signal strenght (Rssi) is also avaialbe to send.
I would also appreciate if someone could help to read barometer sensor values.
Thanks in advance
Is there any way to read Ambient Light sensor values too? I would really appreciate if someone would help! The rest works as a charm.
i am using MATLAB R2014a.
is it neccessary to download this file to use mobiledev function.(i think it is).when i search for mobiledev function in my matlab i couldnt find any.so i downloaded this package but it is not getting install.all the time it showes me error saying:-
Error getting support package information from mathworks.com.
Your network connection may be down or your proxy settings improperly configured.
When trying to install this on MATLAB 2014b, I get the error:
"Simulink Support Package for Samsung GALAXY Android Devices cannot be installed on this system. It requires:
Base Product: Simulink
Host Platforms: Win32,Win64,Mac64"
I am on Win64, with a MATLAB install but without Simulink. I subsequently managed to install after typing "mobiledev" at the MATLAB command prompt and clicking on the error message link that resulted.
