Submission contains all the files used in the "Understanding Kalman Filter, Part 6: How to Use a Kalman Filter in Simulink" Controls Tech Talk video. A simple pendulum system is modeled in Simulink using Simscape Multibody™. The angular position of the pendulum is estimated using the Kalman filter block that is available in Control System Toolbox™.

Tomasz Sloniowski is right!!!Some of the issues encountered during model compilation may be because this model was created in a previous release.

The model works perfectly, Tomasz didn't read the instructions in that came with the file or he is missing an add-on to Matlab.

In the model, inside the Pendulum Mask, there are two blocks used from Simscape Multibody library which are not in every Matlab Simulink library. Therefore it's hard to rebuilt and run the model. It could be more useful if these two blocks were attached to the library to download or the Simulink model built using different blocks, more easily available.
All the rest is very good explained.
