Zekeriya Uykan was a Research and Teaching Assistant with ITU, from April 1994 to September 1996, and also a Research Scientist with HUT, from September 1996 to February 2001. He was with the NOKIA Research Center (now Nokia-Bell Labs), Radio Comm. Laboratory, Helsinki, Finland, from July 2000 to April 2007, and Nokia Siemens Networks (now Nokia Solutions and Networks), Espoo, from April 2007 to December 2010. He was a Visiting Associate Professor with the COMNET Department, School of Electrical Engineering, Aalto University, Espoo, from August 2012 to September 2012 and from February 2013 to August 2013. He was with Dogus University, Istanbul, from September 2009 to September 2015, and has been with the American University of the Middle East, Egaila, Kuwait, since September 2014. His research interests include artificial neural networks, artificial intelligence, and radio resource optimization in emerging wireless communication systems.
