Sebastián Madrigal

Sebastián Madrigal Ballestero holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Costa Rica and an MSc in Computer Science from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. He works as a Researcher at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), contributing to research on optimization and predictive control with applications in energy markets and collective self-consumption energy communities. His interests span control systems, distributed optimization, and machine learning for intelligent energy and automation applications.
