Jason Climer received his bachelors degree with Distinguished Honors in Biology and Biotechnology with a focus in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Genetics and a minor in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where his work on cholinergic receptor genetics in C. elegans was awarded the Provost's Award for Most Outstanding MQP (senior thesis). He went on to earn his PhD from Boston University where his work focused on novel analytical and experimental techniques to study the rodent memory and navigation circuit.
